You can buy this book in softcover at my Blurb shop. I will continue to seek a publisher for this and all my projects, but felt Bucket deserved to be out in the world rather than sitting in someone's in box of no return. It made me feel better.

Creative Illustration Workshop, was named third in the Amazon Editors' Top 10 Photography/Art books of 2010. Below are a few of Katherine's book projects looking for publishers/editors:
"Raggedy Love" is part Griffin & Sabine, part Eat, Pray, Love, and part Sara Midda—with a dash of Alice in Wonderland. After a breakup catapulted her into unhappiness, Katherine searches for a new life, follows her inner dreams [which always seem to be clearer when she is painting], leaves her homeland and family in the Midwest for Oregon. Baking pies had helped comfort her when she was going through those rough patches, conjuring up motherly love and smells of cinnamon. When her next door neighbor - a man with the same last name as her- brings her his bounty of cherries from his own tree, she bakes him a pie and neighborly love takes hold. But the love keeps growing, and she keeps painting, and one day she finds herself standing in a life long dream - a farm. The not-so-young newlyweds set off to grow acres of lavender, raise sheep and eventually a little donkey comes into their lives - who happens to be very good at delivering fresh home made pies to neighbors. That discovery leads to a whole new chapter in her life and an annual gathering to share love, pie and donkey. Manuscript is completely written [edited with Jay Schaefer]. Illustrated. See preview.
"Misfits of Love" is a collection of narratives and "conversations' between the author and the many old and needy animals that have wandered onto her Apifera Farm - neglected donkeys, crippled goats, a grumpy pig, a senior citizen goose complete with her own duck flock, mice and roosters. Katherine had a successful funding of the initial stages of this project through Kickstarter in January 2012. Part "Birds of a Feather", part "Wind in the Willows", each chapter has an emotive art piece of the animal and sepia photographs. A consistent thread entwined through the book are her feelings of working with the old animals while processing her father's passing. See preview.
Partial manuscript available. Illustrated.
"Pino's Pie's", a lifestyle book with magically written pie recipes, geared for all ages. Full of her whimsical prose and art, and like no other cook book, it is inspired by her real life where she bakes pie and gifts it to complete strangers who she invites to her farm every summer for a giant pie party - hosted by her and the little donkey, Pino. Pino and Katherine used to share their homemade pie by walking it - slowly - to nearby farms, but she soon realized having a big party would bring more people to Pino. Presentation available with two sample recipes and art.
"Healing Creatures" is an ongoing online journey from grief to lightness, all with the help of Katherine's felted creatures. She is interested in turning this into a "inspirational art/craft book" that has a chapter on needle felting/doll making.
