That's Mama Kitty[calico] snuggled with Little Orange, and that's Plum way down on the bottom. I adore it when they get in that ratty box. BW likes it too. I put it out on porch for winter and the wicker is covered in hay and blankets for the 5 porch dwellers. She looks like the one you lost, then found...I've always loved Calicos.
I just got a 2 year old calico cat at the animal shelter. We named her Annabel and she is the first cat we have had here on the farm in 10 years. She is lovely.
Farmlady - no cats in 10 years? Wow, you must live in some kind of magic zone with anti kitty dust! Just kidding, I'm glad you have a new cat. I love Calicos, like I said. I often think ahead to when all the Apifera cats are gone. I can't really imagine not having the 12+ around. But I can't imagine ever having such a large group since we spay neuter in comings...I would not have wanted to miss the opportunity to know any of them, they are all so unique.
Thank you for reading! The farm and my art/writing keep me hopping, so might not respond immediately. Thank you for understanding. ~Katherine & Apifera ~
