I'd rather walk through sheep droppings to feel the fog with an orange cat and breakfast with a chocolate goat then wear diamonds on my heels and sit on a velvet cushion amongst people with apps.
I have just "discovered" your blog and am in total heaven! My dream has been to have goats of my own, although now I must add donkeys into the mix! Your images, your work, all are so inspiring! Thank you! I also have to smile as years ago my girl and I were decorating art journals with magazine images and we had a very heated battle over an image of a fox terrier which, I just realized, is your work!
I hope it is alright ... I have been making contour drawings from some of your photographs and would like to share them on my blog (with links back to you of course!) These are merely for my enjoyment ... and practice!
And now to order your book! Your work reminds me of Chagall and i love the world you have created.
Goats are wonderful, as our donkeys, I'm glad I don't have to pick! And thank you for the enthusiasm on my work and blog- I visited your blog and it looks like you are one busy mama. I do ask people not to trace my photos - out of courtesy - many of these are being pitched elsewhere for other projects and it can quickly become a copyright conflict for me [and you too for that matter] - - hope you understand [no need to take anything down if it's on you blog already if it has a credit] Thanks for visiting!
I just posted a few pieces ... they are contour drawings (I don't trace!) and hopefully my enthusiasm will bring you some new readers and supporters. My girl is ready to come stay with you! Guess I will have to hit the children's zoo for some live models :)
