Pie Love: Guarding the pie

Good to know no one can come in and steal one of my pies....especially when I made it with Oregon homegrown strawberries just for the Dirt Farmer, who planted me five more trees today.

ok, there are three of my favorite things in this picture....the pie (of course), the doggie, and the boots, which do i like best? i am torn...the boots, ever-so useful on a daily basis; doggie, always a good bet, but the pie, the pie is calling my name, so that is my vote! yummy!

That's a great picture. I'll bet he'd like to try one of those pies out. It looks delicious.

Yup, your pies are definitely safe. Yum!

Oh yes, those are great photos. I like the "moment-ness" of the blur, too.

Question: how do you sepia all but the pie? (photoshop gouge, please!)

Thanks for writing, everyone....Thistledog, in answer to your question, yes, PShop, you make a 'layer' of the main background, then sepia that new layer, and also cut out the pie, so the color layer shows through.

Trained Pie Watchdogs are very rare and very valuable. I sure wish we had one, but there's a long waiting list. In the meantime we'll have to get by with our Cupcake Watchcat, but it's just not the same.

I'm pretty sure he just SAYS he's a pie watchdog, well-trained and all... a likely story, no?

K - thanks for the gouge! ps, I love your kitchen...
