Mama Kitty

...in which we are introduced to the first cat of Apifera....She had no name, and had never had a name, but as she saw it there was no use for one.
Her age was most likely hundreds of days...

I read your blog on a regular basis and so love the animals and your charming depictions of them. I hope you won't stop anytime soon. This latest post is particularly charming.

Thank you for your loyal readership, Paula. I read once that the average time spent on a blog is under a minute. It made me wonder if anyone really reads these stories...

I love these stories and I read them all. I put words in my animals mouths all the time and let our farm come to life too. Please don't think that no one is reading. We are.

So this means if it is ever published, there will be at least 5 buyers! Hey, thanks, guys. I just think blogs are a god send to artists and writers. It is important to share the work.

Well, Miss Polly, what a nice message to get this Sunday morning! I appreciate it so much, and it will make my day of weedin in the lavender field less back breaking.
