One day, or actually it was near dusk, I had just left the house, to do chores. It was summer and the donkeys were in the far field, returning to the barn. Old Matilda was leading them. I knew there were stars even in the not-yet-black sky, I knew the donkeys knew too.
The stars don't go away, it's just that the sun moves and they look different.
